Position Statements
Christ’s Legacy Academy recognizes that students are growing up amid many competing worldviews. To faithfully cultivate a biblical worldview, the Academy affirms and teaches positions on key social issues grounded in Scripture. While we acknowledge that sincere disagreement exists, Christ’s Legacy Academy is committed to upholding what we believe to be biblical truth. When these topics arise in classroom instruction or discussion, they are addressed with clarity, grace, and respect, and taught in alignment with the Academy’s convictions rooted in God’s Word. The Academy maintains that certain social positions are inconsistent with a biblical worldview and will teach accordingly.

Christ’s Legacy Academy feels that there are several areas of social concern that are contrary to forming a biblical worldview. We understand that there may be disagreement on these issues; but if these issues arise during classroom discussion, Christ's Legacy Academy will take these positions as biblical:
Classical Christian education is an approach to learning that emphasizes biblical teachings, focuses on the classical liberal arts, and progresses through rigorous curriculum that compliments the natural way children grow and process information. It incorporates a teaching model from the classical education movement known as the Trivium, consisting of three parts: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric.

We believe that God purposefully created the universe as outlined in Genesis 1 & 2. Specifically, we believe that God utilized the literal six 24 hour days.
Scripture: Genesis 1&2; Genesis 5:1-2; Psalm 33:6; Isaiah 29:16; John 1:3; Romans 1; Colossians 1:16; Revelation 4:11
We believe that all people are created in the image of God and possess inherent worth and dignity. For this reason, human life is sacred and should be protected and valued from the moment of conception.
Scripture: Job 10:10; Psalm 71:6; Psalm 139:15; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5
We believe that God distinctly created male and female and sovereignly assigns each individual their biological gender. We honor these differences with respect and do not support attempts to alter or redefine the gender God has given.
Scripture: Genesis 1:27, Deuteronomy 22:5, Romans 9:20

We believe that sexual relationships were designed by God to be between a male and female exclusively in a marriage relationship.
Scripture: Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:22; 1 Corinthians 6:18; Galatians 5:18-26; 1 Thessalonians 4:3
We believe that the use of metaphysical means (i.e. spirits, horoscopes, crystals, etc.) to gain knowledge is false and dangerous. We believe that God alone is the source of all truth.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 32:4; Psalm 33:4; John 14:6; Acts 13; I Chronicles 10:13
We believe that God is impartial to people, no matter their race, background, or experience. He shows compassionate love and mercy to all of those who would call on His name for salvation.
Scripture: Hebrews 11; John 3:16; Acts 16:31
