The Customer Service Specialist serves as an important part of our school's administrative operations, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment that reflects our Christian values. This role encompasses a blend of traditional secretarial duties and active participation in school marketing and admissions processes, supporting our mission to provide a Christ-centered education.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Faith Alignmnet: Committed Christian with a passion for faith-based education.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workplace Suite, and familiarity with student information systems.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail.
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-service orientation.
Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties
Front Office Management: Maintain and clean an orderly front area, greet and assist visitors, parents, and students, ensuring a hospitable atmosphere.
Communication: Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries appropriately. Work with the Head of School to support marketing efforts through social media management.
Scheduling: Manage calendars for school events, parent-teacher conferences, and meetings.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, and staff directories.
Supply Management: Order and inventory office and classroom supplies.
Health and Safety: Administer basic first aid and manage student health records in compliance with regulations.
Admissions Support:
Inquiry Management: Respond to prospective family inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
Application Processing: Assist in the collection and organization of application materials, ensuring completeness and confidentiality.
Tour Coordination: Schedule and occasionally lead campus tours for prospective families.
Database Maintenance: Update and manage admissions data in the school's information system.
Onboarding: Facilitate the enrollment process for new students, including the preparation of welcome materials and orientation sessions.
