Think you have to sacrifice athletics? Think Again!

As we go to play Fairview this evening in Basketball, I thought it appropriate to celebrate the strides our Athletic program has made in the last several years. We, by the grace of God, have kept our program as one that glorifies God and not displaces him, and I believe that is something to celebrate! The following post went out today - again, if you know anyone who could benefit from this information, please forward it to them or share on social media!

CLA has a strong Athletics program that focuses on demonstrating Godly character and developing self-discipline. Students compete to glorify God and to celebrate the giftings they've been given by Him. Our students participate in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Cross Country, and Swim with the added opportunity to co-op with local schools for other sports.

Our success in the last 3 years of our conference and in TMSAA and TSSAA speaks for itself:

  • We've won 4 championships across Middle School Boys, High School Girls, and High School Boys Basketball with 2 runners-up in the championship

  • We've had 5 trips to state in Track and Cross Country, competing in the TSSAA and TMSAA league against public schools in the state

  • We placed 3rd in our first year participating in the Volleyball League Tournament with a newly built program

  • We've had 2 trips to state in various Swim events

We also have a strong fan base of both parents, students, and community members who support our various sports programs. Our crew is often one of the loudest, cheering our players on.

Think your kids have to give up the sports they love by choosing a classical Christian education? Think again. You can serve God academically and athletically with your gifts at CLA. We would love to have you come and take a tour to see for yourself how a quality classical Christian education can benefit your family. To schedule a tour, simply call 423-649-0040 or you can email info@clak12.org.

Enrollment for the '24-'25 school year opens soon!
